The Lamborghini Huracán STO is one of the most extreme road legal cars ever produced by Lamborghini and this particular example was built to stand out in every possible way.
Designed with motorsport in mind, the STO takes everything great about the Huracán platform and pushes it even further. With its aggressive aerodynamic design, lightweight construction and unmistakable presence, this is a vehicle that already looks like it belongs on the track.
This model arrived at Prestige PPF in pristine condition, fresh from the dealership. While the original Gloss finish looked incredible, the owner wanted to give the car a more unique and purposeful look whilst still keeping that race-ready feel.
After discussing a few different options, the decision was made to convert the original Gloss paint into a Satin finish using paint protection film
This type of installation is one of our favourites because it completely transforms the character of the vehicle without permanently altering the original paint. Using Satin PPF, we were able to soften the high-gloss finish and create a much more stealthy and aggressive appearance.
The Satin finish worked perfectly with the sharp lines, vents and aerodynamic features of the STO. Every contour of the vehicle became more defined, giving the car an even more track-focused and purposeful look.
Of course, Satin PPF offers much more than just a visual upgrade. Vehicles like the STO are highly susceptible to stone chips, road debris and general wear, especially with such an exposed and low front end.
By applying Satin PPF, the owner not only achieved a completely new look, but also ensured the original paint remains fully protected beneath the film. Unlike repainting, the film is completely reversible, meaning the factory finish can be revealed again at any time.
In addition to protection, the film also helps make ongoing maintenance easier, keeping the vehicle looking cleaner for longer.
