The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is one of the most extreme road legal cars Porsche has ever produced and this particular example was every bit as aggressive as you would expect.
Finished in Gloss Black, this 2024 GT3 RS Weissach arrived at Prestige PPF looking absolutely incredible. With its huge rear wing, exposed carbon fibre components and unmistakable motorsport styling, the vehicle already had an enormous presence on the road. However, the owner wanted to take things one step further.
After discussing a few different options, the decision was made to convert the original Gloss Black paint into a Satin finish using paint protection film.

This type of installation is one of our favourites because it completely changes the character of the vehicle whilst still preserving the original paint beneath. Using Satin PPF, we were able to soften the deep Gloss Black finish and create a much more stealthy and purposeful look.
The Satin finish worked perfectly on the sharp lines, vents and aerodynamic features of the GT3 RS. Every detail of the bodywork became even more pronounced and the overall look of the vehicle became far more aggressive.
For owners of high performance vehicles like the GT3 RS, paint protection film is essential. Cars like this are often driven hard and exposed to stone chips, road debris and other forms of damage that can quickly affect the condition of the paint.

By applying Satin PPF, the owner not only achieved the exact look he wanted, but also ensured that the original Gloss Black paint remained protected underneath. Unlike repainting, the film can be removed in the future if desired, leaving the factory paint untouched.
To complete the look, we also protected the exposed carbon fibre elements and tinted the windows to tie everything together.
As you can see from the finished installation, this black GT3 RS Weissach now has the perfect combination of protection, style and race-ready presence.
